It's Time for the Apple Watch

The time clock is finally ticking for those hanging around to get their hands on the new smart watch from Apple.

The iPhone-compatible wearable is reported to be ready for an April release.

The Apple website said it'll come in a variety of styles and colors. Included are 34 different watch alternatives and nine watch faces.

Users can modify them in a variety of ways.

The watches all have the same rectangular design. Edges will be round off. The distinctions in styles will maintain the "collections" having different materials.

Apple is calling them "Watch", "Watch Sport" and "Watch" model. Those expecting a low-priced version will be disappointed. The Apple Watch starts off at $349.

The Watch release would be the priciest of the group. It features an 18-karat yellow metal case. Apple's engineers have made the casing doubly hard as standard silver. The watch will come in two colors including yellow gold and rose silver. Prices are believed to reach the $4,000 level.

Purchasers can also customize their watch with a number of band styles and colors. You will have six music group types and 18 colors to choose from.

The rings are interchangeable because of a fasten that slides in and out. The idea is to wear your watch out for activities with one music group and/or dress it up with another strap for business or an evening out.

Those with large or small wrists will have two face sizes to choose from. Some may be 38mm and the other is 42mm. The display screen can be flipped for both right and still left hand.

The watch user interface is different than anything Apple is wearing the market, which could take some used to.

The digital crown functions as scroll wheel. You can focus in and out. Early on test versions signify the on-screen touch will need to be very correct in small working space.

According to Apple you can also program your watch for stock market dividends, weather reviews and calendar happenings.

Working with your iPhone, the watch does indeed enable you to see your contacts or even use Apple Pay as needed. Of course it does all the most common smart watch tasks such as making and acquiring calls from your wrist and checking messages for working out.
